Course Description
Family Yoga and Play A beach themed parent and child workshop Family yoga and attachment based play activities to support co-regulation and calm, nurture connections and create joyful shared experiences. Join Zoe and play therapist Becca, for a beach themed afternoon of fun movement, playful connection, and calm togetherness, designed especially for you and your little one to enjoy, side by side. Enjoy a beach themed yoga adventure, parachute games, and breathing exercises, bringing some giggly energy into the room. Followed by free play stations you and your child can explore together, searching for shells in the sand tray, creating seaside crafts for each other, threading beachy bracelets, ocean rescue water play, and a cosy story corner, all designed to nurture connection and co-regulation through play. We'll wind down with a calming end-of-session sound bath and a gentle return to stillness on the mats, before sending you home with a little gift bag to keep the connection going. Where: Ombersley Road Methodist Church Hall, WR3 7BW When: Saturday 15th August 2026 | 12–2pm (Preschool) Age: Designed for preschoolers, age 3–5, however we can be flexible on age of siblings (if unsure just send a quick message) Price: £25 per parent/child duo · +£15 per additional sibling (e.g. £40 for 1 parent + 2 children) Click add on at the checkout for siblings. By booking a place on this workshop, I confirm that: • I understand this workshop is not a therapy service and does not constitute play therapy, counselling, psychological treatment, assessment, or any other clinical intervention. It includes play-based and relational activities to support connection, enjoyment, co-regulation, and positive parent-child interactions. • I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may choose which activities I and my child take part in, using my own judgement. • I understand that I am responsible for supervising and supporting my child throughout the workshop and remain responsible for their care, behaviour, and wellbeing at all times. Neither facilitator will provide childcare or supervise my child. • I understand that I must inform the facilitators of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, additional needs, or accessibility requirements. If I or my child become distressed, overwhelmed, or unwell, I remain responsible for meeting my child’s needs and may leave an activity or take a break at any time. While reasonable care will be taken to provide a safe environment, I understand that participation is at my own risk. Reservation & Payment Bookings on any classes are only secured once full payment of the applicable course fee has been processed. Prices are correct as they appear on the website. Prices may change occasionally and offers may be available for a limited time. Cancellation All amounts paid in respect of a booking are non-refundable, except in the event that a course that is booked does not take place or is cancelled by Zoe Meachem, in which case a pro rata refund may be issued. No refunds can be issued for cancellation by a course participant although Zoe may, in their sole and absolute discretion, offer a full or pro rata refund (as applicable) in exceptional circumstances. All of our group courses require a minimum number of participants to run. If for any reason these numbers are not reached you will be notified and entitled to a full refund.
