The Fourth Trimester: Baby Massage and Yoga for Postpartum
Therapeutic postnatal yoga blended with baby massage in Worcester & Bromsgrove. Rest, process your birth and feeding journey, ease tension, and learn to massage your baby, all in one nurturing space.
Restore & Reconnect
The early months of motherhood ask so much of your body and your heart. This is a space to slow down and meet both.
The Fourth Trimester Course blends therapeutic Postpartum Yoga Therapy with Baby Massage, giving you room to rest, reflect, and release the physical tension of pregnancy, birth and feeding, while you and your baby learn to relax together. It's not just a baby class, and it's not just a yoga class. It's both, because you need both.
Sessions run in Worcester and Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. With classes coming to Gloucestershire soon!
About the class
This course exists for the version of you that's still finding her feet, however many weeks or months into motherhood you are.
The yoga portion of this class draws on Zoe's training in Yoga Therapy for Perinatal Mental and Physical Health through the Minded Institute, a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach that goes beyond general postnatal fitness to specifically support the physical and emotional recovery of the fourth trimester. The baby massage element draws on Zoe's training via MamaBabyBliss's IPHM-accredited Teacher Training programme — a curriculum recognised as an NHS training provider and reviewed by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
Each session opens with therapeutic yoga, adapted for the postnatal body: gentle movement and stretches, to ease the aches of feeding, carrying and birth recovery, breath work to settle an overstimulated nervous system, and time simply to lie down and rest, often the first uninterrupted stillness of the week. There's space to process what's come up for you, whether that's the birth itself, the intensity of feeding, disrupted sleep, or just the strange, tender work of becoming someone's parent.
Time is also left available to move into baby massage, a head to toe, soothing sequence you'll learn to repeat at home. It becomes another form of the same practice: presence, touch, co-regulation. You settle each other. With songs, touch, rhythmical movements to ease your baby and aid their development, all while nurturing yourself in a soothing and calming space.
You don't need any yoga experience. You don't need your baby to be silent and always settled. You just need to come as you are, be welcomed and held in a gentle space.
What a session includes
-
Grounding & breathwork – arriving, settling the nervous system, coming into the body
-
Therapeutic postnatal yoga – gentle, adaptable movement to release tension in the shoulders, chest, hips and lower back, and rebuild strength and stability from the inside out.
-
Rest – a short Yoga Nidra or guided relaxation or adapted sound journey, held space to simply stop.
-
Space to talk – processing birth, feeding, sleep, identity, whatever's present for you that day.
-
Baby massage – a full top-to-toe sequence, including elements of baby reflexology, taught step by step so you can continue at home.
-
Connection – a small group of parents (maximum 5) at a similar stage, many of whom become lasting friendships.
Why blend yoga and massage?
Because your recovery and your baby's development are happening in the same room, at the same time — so the class should hold both.
For you:
-
Eases physical tension from pregnancy, birth and feeding (shoulders, chest, hips, lower back)
-
Supports nervous system regulation after the intensity of early parenting

-
Boosts oxytocin, immunity and circulation through loving touch

Practical details
Join anytime from 4 weeks old up until your baby is crawling. Before 4 weeks, babies tend to want to sleep through most of it; from around 5–6 months they're usually keen to wriggle and explore rather than lie still. Outside that window? Still get in touch, if you and your baby are happy, we'll make it work.
You're welcome to repeat the course as many times as you like — some parents come back for a second round because the space itself becomes part of their routine. If you'd like to continue into a more movement-focused class afterwards, ask Zoe about Postnatal Mum and Baby Yoga.
One-to-one sessions are available at home if you'd prefer individual support.
This isn't just another baby class... its about giving you and your baby a soothing space to settle into while learning so much about each other
Come as you are - all are welcome
