Answers to Everyday Inquiries
Which of your classes is best suited to me?

There are lots of different classes available so if you are unsure please contact Zoe. Here is a general guide below but ages/stages can be flexible depending on you and your baby.

Baby Massage - Suitable from birth but its advisable to wait at least 4-6 weeks so that your baby is more likely to be awake and you might be feeling more comfortable being out and about with your baby.

Mum and Baby Yoga Your baby needs to be 8 weeks old to take part in these classes.

Yoga for MumsAfter a vaginal birth you can attend these classes from 8 weeks postpartum, if you had surgery such as a c-section it's a good idea to wait until 12 weeks postpartum. These are guidelines so please listen to your body and don't rush returning to exercise until you feel completely ready.

Pregnancy Yoga - These classes are suitable from 14 weeks pregnant right up until your baby is born.

Women's Yoga - Suitable for all women, so long as you are not in your second or third trimester of pregnancy or first 3 months postpartum.

Can I book a private class?

Yes absolutely! Please contact Zoe if you would like to arrange a private class. Zoe frequently runs one to one Hypnobirthing Workshops for couples and Baby Massage is also lovely to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. All of the classes can be adapted to suit individual circumstances so please contact Zoe who can design a class specifically for your needs.

What Should I bring with me to Baby Massage classes?

Everything you'll need to massage your baby is provided such as a cushion, towels and massage oil. If you would prefer to bring your own that is absolutely fine. MamaBabyBliss "Hugs Massage oil" will also be provided along with detailed handouts to keep.

What should I bring with me to Mum and Baby Yoga or Yoga for Mums

All equipment is provided such as yoga mats, cushions, blocks. If you would prefer to bring your own that's fine too.

There are lots of toys available for babies to play with but if they have a favourite toy, blanket, teether etc you might want to bring that along too.

What if my baby is unsettled during the classes?

All babies have unsettled times while they let us know that they need us to help them with something - It's all part of babyhood so to be expected during baby classes.

Please feel free to feed, change, rock or hold your baby at any time during the sessions. Make yourself completely at home and focus on whatever your baby needs. You won't be disrupting the class.

What should I bring with me to Pregnancy Yoga or Women's Yoga

Everything you'll need for the classes is provided such as yoga mat, cushion, blanket, block. If you would like to bring your own along that's fine by me. You might also want to bring a cosy layer to add on for the relaxation and if you have a pregnancy pillow which is helping you feel comfortable when you lie down you are welcome to bring that along too. For a dedicated week each 6 week term we will practice using yoga balls. I provide these too but you may want to purchase one to use at home here

Is there parking at the venue?

There is free parking across all venues. If parking at Ombersley Road please park carefully so that we can all fit in. All venues have wheelchair access with lots of space which is handy for anyone using a pram.

What if I'm running late?

Life is busy! Especially when you are pregnant or have children, so please never feel you need to miss a class if you're running late. Just arrive when you can and join in. I'll just give you a wave and keep on teaching :)

Can I access your online classes at any time?

Yes! All of the online classes are streamed via Zoom and the sessions are recorded. If you have signed up to an online class but can't make the scheduled time, you will still receive a recording to follow at your own time. Recordings are available for the entirety of the course you have booked on to.
